Welcome to the Kymaera website.
Into The Rainbow, a celebration of
acoustic guitar music dedicated to my first musical partner Nick Webb with
whom I founded Acoustic Alchemy, is about to be released in the USA by
Sheridan Square Records - 30th January 2007 - There are two previously
unreleased tracks. There are also some unreleased tracks
available from 1992 featuring the sax player Mark Lockheart, great
musician who goes back a long way with me, check out Designer Music's mp3
pages. We now have a diary of gigs and events for Kymaera and Almaraya -
here.
Union Square have finally started to release the 18 tracks we did
for them in Summer 2004. There are seven tracks on a 3 CD compilation
called Smooth Jazz including two with fantastic vocals
from our guest singer Lynieve Austin - Streetlife and Rainy Night
In Georgia both Randy Crawford classics. The last album which was released by them, called California Dreamin is still widely available.
It contains 14 tracks arranged and played by Kymaera along with some great tracks by, among others, Bob James and Jeff Lorber.
The DVD of the gig we did with Maria Ewing
at Ronnie Scotts jazz club in December 2001. Surround sound, wide
screen, everything may yet get released - hope lives on!!!!
